I bought these about a year ago and now one is broken. Like other reviewers the red "clean" light came on and no matter how much I clean the thing it won't go off. When I contacted the company about it (which was no easy task. it required calling several different numbers and talking to countless different people, most of whom didn't really understand English) their response was basically "too bad". The second one is still working, but I wonder for how much longer. These purifiers never were that great to begin with. The air didn't feel any cleaner than if I just opened the windows to my apartment and aired it out a little. The only thing they really did was get rid of the stuffy winter feel (but as I said before this can also be solved by just opening the windows for a few minutes). They also didn't help at all with my allergies (the main reason I bought them). The car purifiers are completely worthless. They don't do anything. Overall, I wish I had saved my money and bought something more useful.

The unit would only last for about 18 months of use. I brought my two units about one month apart. They both died after 18 months of use (one after another). The red clean filter light stayed on no matter how clean you cleaned the blades and wire. I do not recommend this product. It is much cheaper to by one with a replaceable filter.
